MEASURING PROCESS
If the word-piece is not steel or other iron-based materials, make sure to input correct sound velocity value for the sample to be tested.
Put some proper coupling paste on the work-piece, then place the probe on the surface of the sample with some press force. The thickness value will display on LCD screen in either mm or inch. The gauge shows the measuring result whenever the probe is coupled with the work-piece for longer than 2 seconds with coupling paste.
